Why we started
Comfort or modesty shouldn’t be a choice.
We searched. We tested. We kept looking. But finding shorts that balance modesty, comfort and movement wasn’t easy — online or offline.
So instead of settling for what was available, we decided to build what we were looking for: Awrah Wear for brothers, built with purpose and designed for modesty.
We’re not chasing trends. Every detail has been considered and every sample refined with one intention — to build something that pleases Allah before it pleases people.
What is taqwa?
تقوى
Mindfulness of Allah.
Taqwa is being aware of Allah at all times and living in a way that seeks His pleasure and avoids His displeasure.
At TAQWATHLETIC, it represents training the body with intention while grounding every effort in character, humility, and inner strength.
Discipline is controlling yourself for a goal. Taqwa is discipline with Allah as the goal.
Our apparel is built for athletes who push limits, while remembering that the greatest victory is mastering the self.

No music. By choice.
While everyone else markets with music and trending audio, we choose to stay on the right path. Even if our reach decreases and our views go down, we don’t compromise our values for engagement — the likes we receive will have barakah. In the end, everything comes from Him.
